Big bedtime read

We had a ‘big bedtime read’ as party of our ‘getting ready to learn’ programme. We had lots of stories throughout the day and we came to school in our pyjamas to emphasise the importance of reading a bedtime story! We read the story of ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’ and we made porridge after. We had a story sack of ‘we’re going on a bear hunt’ and we all joined in. We had hot chocolate at snack time as a treat and we even had a lovely visit from the p1 teacher at Jean Paul II who read us another fun story to spark our imaginations.
